A brand new album by Japan-based Harsh-Noise artist, Kurumi Kadoya. Recorded between 2021-2023, Kurumi Kadoya brings her visual and experiences about the majority of Japanese people in that years who don't care about the issues around them, living on the same cycle without thinking, and in the other thought it feels happy living to spend time like that (as in heaven). Kurumi Kadoya realizes the issues of the Japanese people between that year when she's recording the album is not good for the future and culture.

Accepting this crazy situation even feeling uncomfortable with that, and wanting to create her own future and music she believes in, she mutates her visual into 30 minutes of noisy raising hell, 'Surga rata-rata'. The mutation creates 7 hell tracks of ear-splitting Harsh-Noise and violent Industrial waveforms. One of the elements that give this album a gloomy atmosphere is the keyboard that she used for the 4th track 'ai-ki-ei', it's raw, sore, and depressing. A stairway to heaven of a social tormentor!

Besides her solo Harsh-Noise project with the aggressive performance, Kurumi Kadoya is also part of a duo Noise-Rock project 'Hyper Gal' as a drummer. Many collaborations that she did before, the latest is a collaboration with San Francisco Noise/Experimental artist Evicshen, and the Japanoise living legend Incapacitants.

Surga in Indonesia language means Heaven, Paradise, Nirvana.

I cannot praise this album enough. This album is absolutely terrifying! The many starts and stops creates this very h settling tension. Each start expands on the stopper idea previously. It’s like the music equivalent of walking through thick fog while passing out multiple times throughout trying to find a place to orientate yourself. There may or may not be something sinister in that fog, but you don’t want to stick around to find out. Bought the vinyl so I summon the fog demons through spe showhornwithteeth
