Penguin no Yuuutsu is a solo project by Tana (Citrus Airline, Gt & Vo.) based in Tokyo. As a genre, it has contexts such as alternative, indie, bedroom pop, and post-rock. She create gloomy songs with cute voices and darker lyrics than necessary, in a disturbing chord progression and development. It also features a simple and elaborate rhythm that reflects the intent of the songs.

“Aimaimu” means ambiguous dreams. A cute and gloomy EP with themes of mania and depression, with both bright songs and dark songs. It features math rock elements, big noise, and quirky compositions that are fun to listen to!

This is the first of two EPs, with Dr. Miura (50 pears) and Ba. Tsubota as main supporting members for all songs, and with Government-designated city OSAME (High to Low no Feeling / Hector Saves the Night / TERIYAKI TAIFU), Reo (Kuni) and Mukibutsu-chan (Kurage Keikaku / swim to) as supporting guitarists for each song. Recording/Mixing/Mastering was done by Kosuke Nakamura, who also works with Orisaka Yuta and Uchu Nekoko.
The first track on the EP, "Ochiru," was previously distributed in February, and its music video (directed by Ryo Kageyama) is now available.
